Baseball Season is here!!!!
Baseball season is finally here! Saratoga Springs doesn't have a baseball league so we were going to have to go somewhere else to play. Since we were going to have to drive anyway, we decided to play in Riverton with our friends and close to family. We put Jensen and Drew on the same team. They are good enough and then we can cut down on scheduling. They are playing machine pitch with the Red Sox. Drew says the funniest things. The other day we were getting ready to leave his friends house and he wanted to shoot in their hoop first and he said, " Can I shoot a dam slunk before we go?" Then this week on the way to his baseball game he was getting all pumped up and telling us how he will be playing the "sames". I could not understand what he was talking about. I thought he was trying to describe something to me. Finally, Justin picked up on it. His Red Sox team was playing the Twins, not the sames. :)
Jensen played a little 3rd base and Drew got to catch. Drew seemed to really like that. He did really well to, actually catching some of the balls. We were so rudely laughing at one little boy who didn't even react, they were just hitting him and it wouldn't even phase him.
Of course Breckers had to play too!!!!
The Cutest thing ever! " Is it my turn?"
I love a good party!!
We Smith girls, Me, Julie, Jeni, Melissa and Jeanne, threw a baby boy shower for our sister-in-law Kalli. They are having their first and we are all so excited. Adding another Smith boy to the family....that's all we need! :) We decided to make the theme nautical since I had a hook up with decorations, my mother. It turned out super cute!!!
We played this fun game in teams. A word was spelled and the first team to spell the word with their bodies won.
The front porch.
We had them put the presents in a ship.
Everything was themed around ships. We had knot rolls, fishy crackers, life preservers, swedish fish, cupcakes with sails, the cutest invitations, and the guest were invited to leave Kalli a little advice in a message in a bottle. It turned out super cute, and it was way fun.
